Un diamante grezzo, una bellezza da scoprire, in prima visione assoluta su Sky Arte HD il documentario che racconta l’antica Rocca di Vignola, tra i monumenti più rappresentativi dell’Emilia Romagna. Nel cuore dell’Emilia, al confine tra le provincie di Modena e Bologna, sorge una delle rocche italiane meglio conservate del nostro paese: si tratta della Rocca di Vignola, un castello edificato a scopo difensivo, intorno alla fine della dinastia carolingia, oggi prestigiosa sede internazionale di eventi, mostre e convegni. To raise awareness of this ancient marvel, Sky Arte HD (120 and 400 Sky) will broadcast Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m.00 world premiere of the documentary produced by Wonder Project, in collaboration with Ballandi Arts and with the contribution of the Fondazione di Vignola, "La Rocca di Vignola, un diamante grezzo, una bellezza da scoprire," a film that recounts through images and the guiding voice of historian Valerio Massimo Manfredi the past events of a land and its inhabitants and the vicissitudes of one of its most representative monuments, which over the centuries has been enriched by Italian and European influences, as evidenced by its many stylistic variations. The documentary will also show the painstaking and innovative restoration, study and conservation works of the Rocca, promoted by the Vignola Foundation, which involved its structure, the Pennello tower, decorations and exterior frescoes. It was a year-long work that relied on the input of a specialized team and state-of-the-art techniques, thanks to which it was possible to reconstruct the castle's original colors. Finally, the voices of the inhabitants of Vignola will accompany the viewer to discover the relationship between the people of Vignola and their Rocca, to understand how a monument is able to profoundly influence the lives of those who live around it and can become the symbol of its cultural, historical and geographical identity. "The Fortress of Vignola - a diamond in the rough, a beauty to be discovered" is a program by Andrea Santonastaso, Pierluigi Siena and Cristian Berna, produced by Wonder Project in collaboration with Ballandi Arts exclusively for Sky Arte HD, with the contribution of the Vignola Foundation.
