Dolphin Surf launch

BYD chose Rome for the European launch of the new BYD Dolphin Surf and entrusted Wonder Project with all administrative, logistical, and test drive arrangements, as well as the organization of the event at the Olympic Stadium. 331 guests from around the world, a total of 90 BYD Dolphin Surf vehicles—including models available for test drives and those on display for the convention—and three days of activities: these are just some of the highlights of the event, which marked the European debut of this high-tech compact electric car designed for urban driving and winner of the World Urban Car 2025 title at the prestigious World Car Awards. On May 20, an international press conference was held with BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li at the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, where a dinner for the foreign press was also hosted on the rooftop terrace. The highlight of the launch took place on Wednesday, May 21, at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, where guests were treated to an aperitif and a gourmet dinner. The evening, hosted by Giusy Meloni, continued with a BYD Experience featuring a light show and a performance with over 1,000 drones, which transformed the Rome sky into an open-air stage. Wonder Project oversaw the direction of the live event, from the conception of the unveiling show to the coordination of technical production, as well as the creation of video infographics and 3D video.
