Dinner among the stars

The magic of snow, an enchanted forest, and dinner among the stars with a view of Mt. Blanc Wonder Project conceived and produced at every stage a unique and original format that took place in courmayeur from Feb. 13 to 16, 2019: dinner among the stars, gourmet experience of courmayeur four exclusive dinners made inside a heated transparent geodesic dome immersed in nature under the starry sky of Mt. Blanc.
A unique experience that begins even before they sit down to eat: in fact, guests were taken by horse-drawn sleigh and welcomed by a dehor created with wooden logs, armchairs with skins, braziers, glowing fir trees, and an armchair-shaped photo call made from ice, all in the silence of nature. Inside the transparent structure, adorned with hundreds of warm lights cascading from the dome, Georgian chef Tekuna Gachechiladze of Café Littera in Tbilisi awaited the guests.
The chef was chosen for her commitment to showcasing the fruits of her region and rural life, which aligns perfectly with Courmayeur’s “Lo Matsòn” food project. Proceeds from the four dinners will be donated to disval, the Aosta Valley association for the disabled that works in the Aosta Valley to make sports accessible to all, and other local entities.
Wonder Project took care of every stage of the format: from creative conception to the study of visual identity, from mise en place to the realization of the set-ups, coordinating the work of 20 technicians who set up in the snow two heated domes of 95sqm (dining space) and 29sqm (kitchens) respectively, joined together by a connecting tunnel.
